Silicone is derived from the same material used in ceramics and glass products.

It is based on Silicon Dioxide (SiO2) or Quartz crystals - better known as sand.

Silicone naturally has a limit to its stretch, so some companies add fillers to achieve higher elastic properties.

If your silicone product goes from clear to white when stretched, it most likely has plasticisers added to it.

Silfresh does not add fillers.

Compared to other materials it has a high degree of flexibility allowing it to useful in many applications compared with glass, paper and plastic.

Silfresh does not.
